Hello all in Blog world. I just thought I would let you all know that today is Provo Farmer's Market again. We will be there from about 10am-2pm at Pioneer Park at 500 west and center street. You should all come stop by and see my books and say hi. And come hungry for lunch, there are so many wonderful food vendors. Hope you all have a great Memorial Day weekend! If you can't come today I will be there every Saturday until the end of October, with the exception of when we are on family vacation, but you should still come visit the other booths. There are so many wonderful things and there is a great play ground at the park, so bring the kids! Hope to see you all soon!

Spring Update

Hello Dear Family and Friends. Here is a bit of an update from us. This week has been a very full week with ups and downs. First of all to start off, we thought we were going to be moving into a new apartment. Well, it just wasn’t right for so many reasons, and we have decided to stay in Wymount a little longer. I told Chris that I have never been so happy to still be in Wymount as I am now. It was a hard decision to make, but we feel at peace now and are looking forward to the future. On a good note, I have started doing Farmer’s Market again this year here in Provo. Yesterday was our 3rd week in Pre-Season and it is going great! The first week I sold 3 books, Week number two which was the day before Mother’s Day was my best week ever and I sold 11 books!!! Yesterday I sold 4 and a few other items like the quiet books I do and some cards. I feel like things are going well. I invite any of you in the area to come and visit me at Farmer’s Market any Saturday between now and October from 9am-2pm. It is so much fun! There are tons of yummy food booths and lots of fun arts and crafts and the farmers are starting to come out and the market grows bigger and bigger each week. Probably the best part of yesterday was when the manager of a new book store in Lehi stopped by my booth. She bought a book from me. Then called the owner of her store to tell her what I was selling. Then last night I got a call from the manager asking if I could come in and meet with them Monday morning because they would like to carry my hand-made journals in their store. I am really excited. I am also excited because I am working with a local Artist Fidalis Buehler on making some books with him and he is interested in having me bind a series of one of a kind original artwork. I am very excited about all the doors that keep opening for me. I feel like I have finally found what I want to be doing, being a mom and a book artist. On other happy news we have decided to get our family away for a bit and go on family vacation. We are going to go back to Cancun this summer. Prices are so low this summer. We are very excited. We are going back to the same resort we went to last year, Crown Paradise Club. We are really looking forward to some relaxing time as a family. We will be gone June 12-17th. We are also looking forward to going to Oregon to visit my family for the 4th of July. We had also been planning to go to Southern California to have a family reunion with Chris’ family. However, the uncle’s house that the reunion would have been at has now decided to move to Orem, UT. So the reunion will be here in Utah which will be nice and close for us. So our summer will be full of fun and adventure and lots of work and making books. We are all happy and healthy and feel blessed to have so many good friends and family who love and care for us. I hope this update finds you all well. --Kendra

Abbi "I love to eat the temple Mommy!" Abbi was eating this fruit leather and after a couple bites exclaimed this to me. She was very proud of herself.

Pay it forward

I read this on my friend's blog, and thought it sounded really cute- so here goes!Pay It Forward!Ok, so I decided to participate a little blog game called "Pay it forward."How it works: The FIRST THREE people to leave a comment on this post will receive at some point during this year a gift from ME. What it will be and when it will arrive will be a total surprise. The CATCH is that YOU MUST PLAY TOO! Before you leave your comment here, write a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going (you can cut and paste these instructions). Then come back and let me know that you are going to play, and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift. So, to all my family and friends, don't make me feel like a dork. Leave a comment and play along!I've decided that the gifts I give will be something handcrafted by me. So it might be cookies (if you live close), or a book, or something else creative and crafty. It will be a surprise, but I think you will like it. Have fun!

Charlie's big boy bed

Here he is signing "Thank You" to his Grandma dn Grandpa for bringing it to him. This photo was taken moments after he saw it and got on it for the first time. He was a very happy boy!
So this is Charlie's new bed. Grandma and Grandpa Last brought it with them on their latest trip from California. We love Craigslist there. This bed was bought for $45 and is barely used. What a deal! Charlie approves, his friends approve and mommy approves. So much fun!

Grandma and Grandpa's visit

These are pictures of this last week when Chris' parents Ross and Laurie and his brother Alex came to visit from California. The kids had lots and lots of fun with them! They all played outside, and we went to the BYU Creamery for ice cream. What fun!

Ribbon Piggy Tails

So Abbi loves to have her hair done, but she decided that she only likes Piggy tails. She says they are "same-same like Toy Story has a piggy." So even this we call piggy tails. She also loves to play with my box of ribbon, so while I braid her hair she plays with my box of ribbon and it keeps her pretty entertained. I think this Sunday's turned out pretty well. And thank you Grandma Laurie for this new dress.
